Leather care: saddle, boots, bridles

It is important to take good care of your leather: saddles, nets, girths and boots, because leather is a living material that needs to be cleaned and hydrated regularly to preserve its condition. Leather in poor condition can injure the horse. Worn leather risks breaking and endangering the rider during sport. The environment in which horses and riders operate is not ideal for a material like leather. Mud, sand, rain, dust but also perspiration from horses and riders = proliferation of bacteria and fungi which can damage the leather. To preserve your equipment as long as possible and keep it of good quality, clean and moisturize it regularly.
