Field Horsetail by ESC Laboratoire is a perennial plant from 50cm to 1m common and present everywhere (except in Australia and in sandy soils). Horsetail, a plant recommended to strengthen joints: horsetail is a source of silicon and has remineralizing properties useful for horses. Horsetail is recommended for joint and tendon support. This plant is also useful during growth phases. Horsetail contains between 5 and 8% silica and silicic acid, substances which play a role in the formation of connective tissues. A German commission also approved the medicinal use of horsetail to treat edema caused by shock.

 

What should you combine the field horsetail care product with?

If there is a need for increased remineralization, field horsetail can be supplemented with a treatment of marine algae, such as lithothamnum. This oceanic algae is a source of easily assimilated calcium and magnesium, useful in the event of a deficient diet or demineralization. Lithothamne is also recommended for gastric acidity
