The Equilibrium heated massage mat is made of polyurethane, or PU, with foam padding. The PU exterior makes the product extremely durable, but also hygienic – ideal if shared between several horses and ponies. It resists water and grease, but also fungi. This material combined with the padding also makes it comfortable for the horse.
Six massage motors are positioned in strategic areas for horses and ponies. There are two on each side of the withers, two halfway across the pad, and two more behind the saddle area. The design of the massage mat makes it easier to spread the massage along the back muscles. The heating element is housed in the rear third of the massage mat and heats a gel pad, which in turn heats the horse. This ensures that the heat is evenly dispersed and consistent. It also acts as a security barrier. This part of the massage cushion also has a sensor to ensure that the horse does not overheat, for example when using the cushion in hot weather or after exercise when the horse is naturally warm.
The high-performance Heatsense battery can provide up to ten sessions of effective heat and massage therapy. This equates to five hours of use. In extreme cold conditions this can be reduced to eight sessions. To preserve battery life, it is recommended to disconnect the battery from the cable after each use. After ten heat and massage sessions, it is recommended to charge the battery, to ensure that the heated massage mat delivers heat therapy at the required temperatures. After ten uses, heat may still be delivered, but it is unlikely to be at the optimal temperature.
Attention ! Do not use in the following cases:
Open sores, new injuries, or new swelling (during the first 48 hours)
If infection or malignancy is suspected
Burns or deep vein thrombosis
On the abdomen in case of pregnancy, or not at all during the first trimester
Circulatory problems, causing hypo or hypersensitivity to heat
Active bleeding, bruising or hematoma
Bony areas such as the withers, point of the shoulder or hip
Do not apply more than one heat session at a time on the same horse

De loin le meilleur investissement de ma vie de propriétaire ! Mes chevaux me le font savoir, et ma masseuse l’a également plus que validé! Certes un investissement mais largement rentabilisé !

Excellent produit, qui représente certes un sacré investissement mais sans regret ! Je l’utilise depuis quelques mois pour ma jument ayant des problèmes de dos ! Le sacré plus est le côté chauffant, que d’autres non pas ! C'est génial notamment en hiver. Je l’utilise avant mes séances en guise de préparation à l’effort, ou bien après avoir monté en tant que massage de récompense. Ma jument en est fan!! 😉
