Pediclay by ESC Laboratoire is a care product in the form of clay intended to repair damaged frogs. The exclusive formula of this 100% natural paste combines the absorbent properties of clay combined with the protective properties of tar: Bentonite clay: used in many external treatments for its purifying properties, clay has a strong water absorption capacity. Its composition, rich in various nutrients, also makes it an excellent material which promotes the regeneration of the spongy tissue that constitutes the frog. Tar: Tar is obtained by pyrolysis (slow combustion in the absence of oxygen) from wood. It is a mixture of resin and empyreumatic oil which creates a protective layer on the sole and the fork. Its properties are linked to its chemical composition which contain phenolic compounds and lipophilic compounds (resin acids, terpenes). Polyphenols are particularly known for their antioxidant role. Thyme and tea tree essential oil: both are traditionally used for their cleansing and purifying properties.
