Rosemary Bud Macerate by ESC Laboratoire comes from rosemary. Rosemary is a species of shrub in the Lamiaceae family, growing wild around the Mediterranean, particularly in arid and rocky scrubland, and on limestone soils. Endowed with numerous medicinal properties, rosemary facilitates digestion, improves blood circulation, has a diuretic action and prevents rheumatism. Thanks to its buds, we obtain a very effective concentrated macerate, the most used in gemmotherapy. Its benefits are multiple: rosemary buds are used in gemmotherapy for their protective properties on the hepatic but also digestive system. This macerate would indeed have a restorative action on the intestinal mucosa by stimulating its cell renewal. The Rosemary bud macerate care product is produced in France from certified organic buds. The interest of gemmotherapy is that it uses the embryonic tissues of plants to act on the body. These tissues are extracted from parts of plants still growing (buds or young shoots) which are particularly concentrated in active ingredients (minerals, vitamins, phytohormones) necessary for the proper development of the plant and its protection against external aggression. These plant parts are then macerated in a water – alcohol – glycerin mixture for several weeks. We then obtain a concentrated mother macerate, also called hydroalcoholic extract of fresh buds.
