Gastromix by ESC Laboratoire is a mixture of 10 plants selected for their soothing properties on the horse's digestive system: CLAY - CHAMOMILE - CHICORY - FENUGREEK - MARSHMALLOW - LITHOTHAMNE - MELILOT - LEMON BALM - PEPPERMINT - VERBENA. This combination makes Gastromix a natural supplement which facilitates the digestion of horses thanks to the properties of plants with complementary virtues acting in synergy and in particular: Chamomile: Matricaria, also called German chamomile, is used in cases of stress and digestive discomfort. Peppermint: Peppermint, which has been the subject of studies on irritable bowel syndrome, helps relieve gastrointestinal spasms and promote digestion. Marshmallow: Marshmallow relieves irritation of the digestive tract thanks to its richness in mucilage. These swell on contact with water, taking on a viscous texture similar to gelatin and lining the walls of the stomach. The effectiveness of the Gastromix plant mixture is reinforced by the presence of clay rich in kaolin, known for its benefits on the digestive mucous membranes. Gastromix also contributes to strengthening the intestinal flora, good digestion and maintaining general health. What synergy with the Gastromix care product? In the event of disruption of the digestive system, the Gastromix mixture can be combined with a supplement with digestive properties such as Equidigest Flore. This complementary food rich in yeast helps to strengthen digestive balance and promote the protection of flora in the event of acid attacks.
