Hippo Crampes by ESC Laboratoire is an enriched supplement that accelerates recovery time in horses. The very complete plant-based formula enriched with minerals makes Hippocrampes an effective complementary food to accelerate recovery time after physical effort: Spirulina: Spirulina is a marine algae very rich in proteins (min 65%) and antioxidants. Spirulina is particularly recommended for athletic horses and during fatigue. Selenium: selenium plays a major anti-oxidant role in athletes, in close connection with Vitamin E. Selenium conditions the activity of anti-oxidant enzymes and participates in the regeneration of vitamin E. A selenium deficiency can lead to greater fatigue during exercise, impaired recovery and muscle pain Vitamin E: Vitamin E has recognized anti-oxidant properties and protects organic tissues. Vitamin E prolongs the life of red blood cells and is necessary for the proper use of oxygen by the muscles. What should you combine the Hippocrampes care product with? For accelerated recovery, it is also possible to add magnesium chloride to the basic ration. Magnesium has muscle-relaxing properties and helps reduce muscle tension during periods of intense exercise.
