• Green clay: Green clay is the most recommended clay in clay therapy. It is a mineral that comes from a volcanic rock with many virtues for the health of your animals. It is composed mainly of silica as well as other minerals and trace elements. As a poultice, once applied, Green Clay has a remineralizing action. It protects muscle, tendon, joint and bone structures by providing more flexibility and mobility. It also activates regenerative processes to restore musculoskeletal injuries more quickly. Absorbent, it drains liquids gently, by capillarity, to evacuate them. Adsorbent, it captures and then fixes inflammatory molecules or toxins to its surface in order to eliminate them. Anti-inflammatory and analgesic, this clay calms potential or present pain and inflammation.

• HE Vetiver: Vetiver essential oil has real phlebotonic and lymphotonic properties. The stimulation of the venous and lymphatic circulation allows a supply of oxygen and essential nutrients to the damaged tissues as well as a faster elimination of the molecules responsible for the pain. It also helps the other molecules of the synergy to treat engorgement thanks to its anti-inflammatory and calming properties, which relieves the horse and accelerates its recovery process.
• HE Lemon Eucalyptus: Lemon Eucalyptus stands out for its remarkable anti-inflammatory properties thanks to its high composition of citronellal. It intervenes by modulating the inflammation produced following an aggression suffered and calms the sensations of heat, redness and swelling that result. Powerful analgesic, it is recommended in massage in case of engorgement. It is a painkiller that relieves and effectively fights against the painful congestions that result most of the time. It also has a soothing action on certain neuromediators which relaxes the horse during its healing period.
• HE Cade: A venous and lymphatic decongestant, Cade essential oil mainly contains sesquiterpenes and sesquiterpenols, which have diuretic and regulatory activities on the circulation of blood and lymph in the body. It eliminates more quickly the biological fluids transported via the blood to the kidneys. Recognized anti-inflammatory, it helps the body to modulate its response to the aggressions that have induced engorgement in order to avoid inflammation. Its soothing, relaxing and sedative actions promote rest and patience in the horse.
• HE Red Myrtle: Engorgement can come from poor venous drainage. Like certain other essential oils in this lotion, Red Myrtle also effectively plays its role of venous and lymphatic decongestant. It helps the circulatory systems by decongesting and toning them to drain the affected area. Anti-inflammatory, it is useful to calm the inflammation caused by edema.
• HE Lentisk Pistachio: When a joint or tendon is affected, the body reacts to this attack by coating the affected part with a liquid to protect it: the synovium. Lentisk Pistachio essential oil has strong draining and circulatory properties that act directly on the targeted area to absorb and evacuate the accumulation of biological fluid. Also endowed with anti-inflammatory properties, it relieves pain and allows the horse to regain good mobility.

• Apply the poultice to the targeted area.
• Leave on and air dry.
• For prolonged action, wrap with a damp cloth.
• Shower with water to remove the clay.

To be used maximum 5 days per week.
To be used for a maximum of 3 weeks before observing a week off. If necessary, renew.

Possibility of combining the treatment with  la  Engorgement & knob lotion.
